Summary: A quick and cost-effective solution was needed when we encountered a logistical challenge whilst trucking goods across the United States.

Our Mission: Our trucking team faced a logistical challenge when transporting goods across the United States. It was discovered during collection that we’d been given incorrect pallet dimensions and the truck was unable to accommodate the full load. Sending another vehicle to recover the remaining pallets was likely to be time-consuming and costly, so we needed to find a quick and cost-effective alternative solution.

Our Solution

Upon realising the discrepancy, we immediately conducted an on-site evaluation to assess the situation and explore our options.

We arranged for the pallets to be transferred to the client’s nearby warehouse while we arranged alternative transportation.

Instead of dispatching a separate truck to recover the cargo, we utilised our existing resources and coordinated a pickup with the same carrier.

Pallets from the original and additional trucks were then consolidated in order to maximise load capacity and reduce overall costs.

The goods were successfully recovered, causing minimal disruption to the client’s operations.
