Back in 2022, we were tasked with getting replacement drugs to a cancer patient on a Caribbean cruise after he discovered a problem with his medication. The pills needed to be collected from Portland, Oregon that evening and delivered to where the cruise ship was docked in Havana, Cuba before it set sail again at noon the next day. With such a tight timeframe and Covid-19 restrictions still in place, we sprung into action to deliver the vital medicine.

We checked our global database and sourced an onboard courier to set off immediately, collecting the package in Portland before driving to Seattle for a midnight flight to Miami.
With border restrictions preventing our American courier from flying on to Cuba within the tight timeframe, we scanned the database again to secure a German flyer in Miami, locating a Covid-19 testing centre willing to stay open after-hours for the required pre-departure checks.
The couriers met at the airport to hand over the package for the last leg of its journey, with the medicine making it to the patient in good time before the cruise departed Havana.
